  • Brent Thomas

    FOUNDING PARTNER

    Brent Thomas is a highly accomplished leader in regulatory affairs, public policy, and corporate communications, with over two decades of experience across global, regional, and local roles. Most recently, Brent served as Global Public Policy Director at TikTok, where he held a board position, and navigated complex regulatory challenges in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan, working closely with global executives to protect the platform’s operations and reputation.

    Prior to TikTok, Brent held key leadership roles in the Asia-Pacific region, including Director of Public Policy at Airbnb, VP of Public Policy and Corporate Affairs at MasterCard, and Head of Corporate Affairs at eBay and PayPal. Earlier in his career, Brent served as SVP at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he drove significant revenue growth and provided strategic policy advice on major regulatory matters. His career began in law and government, including roles as a solicitor and Chief of Staff to senior Ministers, where he developed a deep understanding of politics and public administration.

    Brent’s impact extends beyond his professional roles to corporate and community leadership. He has served on the boards of organisations such as the AIDS Trust of Australia, NSW Police and Community Youth Clubs, and as a local Councillor. These roles reflect his enduring commitment to community service and advocacy.

    With an MBA and a law degree, Brent combines strategic, legal, and policy expertise with a proven track record of influence and network-building. He is a trusted advisor who excels at navigating the complex intersections of policy, politics, and business.

  • Lee Hunter

    Lee Hunter is a globally recognised technology leader, celebrated for his transformative impact on some of the world’s most influential technology companies, including TikTok, YouTube and Google. Most recently as the head of TikTok Australia & New Zealand (and Latin America for a time), Lee played a pivotal role in the platform's explosive growth, growing the Australian office to almost 500 people, and establishing TikTok as a cultural phenomenon and a dominant force in the social media landscape. 

    Lee was also the public face for TikTok through challenging times, appearing before multiple Senate and Parliamentary inquiries, and representing the company in front of the media. He’s a highly trained communicator, adept at dealing with policy makers, politicians and global media institutions. He's been a respected voice on everything from national news media to the BBC and CNN. 

    Prior to his success at TikTok, Lee worked internationally, holding key leadership roles at Google and YouTube, most notably where he was Global Head of Brand for YouTube, with responsibility for overseeing global marketing strategies and driving the company’s brand evolution. He's made a film with Ridley Scott, won a medal from NASA for contributions to space education, he’s worked with global icons such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lady Gaga and more, he’s been an entrepreneur, a listed-company CEO and is now a highly respected thought leader.
